KDO: Po svém odchodu z Deep Purple založil zpěvák David Coverdale v roce 1978 rockovou formaci, která podobně jako Deep Purple vycházela z hard rocku, ale kladla větší důraz na líbivé melodie. V osmdesátých letech Whitesnake natočili několik desek, které se dostaly do britské Top 10, s eponymním albem z roku 1987 se dokázali prosadit i ve Spojených státech.
CO: Slide It In je šesté studiové album anglické rockové skupiny Whitesnake. Vydáno bylo v lednu 1984 a jeho producentem byl Martin Birch. Nahráno bylo během předchozího roku ve studiu Musicland v Mnichově. Kapela původně pracovala s producentem Eddiem Kramerem, ten byla ale nakonec nahrazen právě Birchem. Během vzniku alba rovněž došlo ke změně sestavy. Britská verze tak obsahuje skladby nahrané v jiné sestavě než verze americká. V rámci reediční aktivity jsou obě varianty k dispozici v nově zremasterované podobě, v opulentním 6CD/DVD boxu je navíc doplňují dosud nevydané koncertní i studiové nahrávky, hudební videa a záběry ze zákulisí nebo nově pořízené interview s Davidem Coverdalem.
