KDO: Motörhead kdysi definovali základní prvky speed metalu a thrash metalu a dodnes nepochybně stále patří k nejpopulárnějším hardrockovým a heavymetalovým kapelám a rovněž bývají označováni jako "Nejhlasitější kapela na světě". CO: Album "No Sleep ‚til Hammersmith" završilo pro Motorhead veleúspěšný rok 1981. Singl "Ace Of Spades" vyšplhal na čtvrtou příčku britské hitparády, alba "Overkill" a "Bomber" se těšila přízni publika i novinářů, a kapela byla na turné po Velké Británii, kdy během pouhých 34 dnů odehrála 32 koncertů, z čehož pramení název alba, který mu kapela dala podle nápisu na jednom z tour-busů.
