Protektorátní etudy
Protektorátní etudy tvoří celkem třináct kapitol, jež zastřešuje velmi temné období a prostředí protektorátu Čechy a Morava (1939–1945). Ovšem tyto etudy nejsou ani tak o nacistických represáliích. I toto chmurné období totiž přinášelo nemálo situací tragikomických. Odehrávaly se zde pozoruhodné příběhy v kulturní sféře (zejména ve filmové branži), docházelo až ke směšným vyšetřováním přestupků (jakým bylo třeba bezděčné uplivnutí si před vozem německého pohlavára či klepání koberců v době k této činnosti neurčené), které v celkové obludnosti režimu působí až absurdně. Nacistický režim však chtěl kontrolovat do detailů každý aspekt lidského konání – včetně sexuálního života (i toho za úplatek). Některé z takových situací se již ve své době šířily v podobě anekdot (často jen ústně tradovaných), v čemž byli Češi vždy mistry.
