Ako veľký fanúšik kníh od Maas som sa veľmi tešila na túto jej novú sériu a musím povedať, že mám zmiešané pocity z HOEAB. Prvých 200 strán ma kniha vôbec nebavila, doslova som sa nútila si ju prečítať... potom to začalo byť zase zaujímavé, no od strany cca 350 alebo 360 až po stranu 500 za mňa teda nič moc a zas to pre mňa začalo byť zaujímavé až od tej strany 500 (plus-mínus). Nemôžem povedať, že ma kniha sklamala, to nie. Sarah má (podľa mňa) úžasný štýl písania a napríklad prvá kniha zo série Trón zo skla bola pre mňa nezaujímavá a nútila som sa pokračovať v čítaní, no ako som čítala ďalej, tak som sa postupne zamilovávala do série, a tak dúfam, že tomu bude aj pri tejto sérii :) . Teším sa na pokračovanie a snáď bude druhá kniha lepšia než bola táto prvá.
