The White Stripes bola americká rocková dvojica založená v roku 1997 v meste Detroit. Jej členmi boli Jack White a Meg White. Potom, ako vydali niekoľko albumov a singlov sa v roku 2002 dostali do väčšieho povedomia verejnosti ako súčasť garage rock revival scény.
Vôbec prvé oficiálne vydanie The White Stripes Peel Sessions. Zachytenie Jacka a Meg na priepasti medzinárodného renomé v rozruchu „White Blood Cells“, ich dve živé relácie so známym DJ-om BBC Johnom Peelom sú pravdepodobne najlepším dokumentom White Stripes tej doby. Keďže boli tieto nahrávky od prvého vysielania v roku 2001 značne pašované, tešia sa ich prvému autorizovanému vydaniu na oslavu ich 15. výročia.
