Aretha Louise Franklin (25. marec 1942 – 16. august 2018) bola americká speváčka, skladateľka a klaviristka. Rolling Stone, ju dvakrát označil za najlepšiu speváčku všetkých čias. S celosvetovým predajom viac ako 75 miliónov nahrávok je Franklin jednýnou z najpredávanejších hudobných umelcov na svete. Vyše päťdesiat rokov je jej tvorba súčasťou americkej kultúry. Aretha Franklin je zrejme najdôležitejšou soulovou speváčkou sveta. Je druhou najúspešnejšou držiteľkou cien Grammy, v roku 1987 bola ako vôbec prvá žena uvedená do rock'n'rollovej siene slávy.
A Portrait Of The Queen (1970-1974) je nový box set pozostávajúci z prvých piatich štúdiových albumov, ktoré Aretha Franklin vydala v sedemdesiatych rokoch – teda This Girl's In Love With You zo 70. rokov a Spirit In The Dark, Young, Gifted z roku 1972. And Black, Hey Now Hey (The Other Side Of The Sky) z roku 1973 a Let Me In Your Life z roku 1974. Sprievodným dokumentom je šiesty album outtakes, alternatívnych verzií a demo nahrávok.
