William Rory Gallagher bol írsky gitarista, spevák a skladateľ. V roku 1966 vytvoril bluesrockové power trio Taste, ktoré zaznamenalo mierny úspech vo Veľkej Británii. Úspech zaznamenal aj vďaka sólovej kariére vydávajúcej hudbu počas 70. a 80. rokov minulého storočia a predajom viac ako 30 miliónov nahrávok po celom svete.
