Jethro Tull je britská rocková skupina založená v roku 1967, reprezentuje folk-rock, progresívny rock a hard rock. Názov skupiny je odvodený od mena a priezviska anglického agronóma žijúceho na prelome 17. a 18. storočia. Zloženie skupiny sa počas rokov menilo, ale pilierom, ktorý určoval jej umeleckú podobu, zostával celý čas extravagantný líder flautista Ian Anderson, ktorý ovládal niekoľko nástrojov na čele s priečnou flautou, ale aj gajdy, mandolínu a gitaru. Ian si obliekal šašovské farebné kostýmy, štylizoval sa do úlohy starca, krepčil na pódiu na jednej nohe a svojou originálnou inšpiráciou stredovekým folklórom získal rešpekt odborníkov. Pre skupinu je typická rytmická hra na bicie, basovú gitaru, gitary, klávesové nástroje, sporadicky hrané melodické riffy, spojené s vybrujúcim zvukom flauty a charakteristickým spevom
Jethro Tull oznamuje v roku 2025 opätovné vydanie kompilačného albumu »Living in the Past« v novom formáte:2LP edícia dvojalbumu s remixami Stevena Wilsona a 5CD+BR. Album, ktorý pôvodne vyšiel v roku 1972, je zbierkou singlov, albumových skladieb a hitov, ktoré sa stali hitmi po celom svete. Nové rozšírené vydanie „Still Living in the Past“ obsahuje remixy Stevena Wilsona, aranžmány, ukážky, „Live at Carnegie Hall 1970“ (Steve Wilson Remix) a štyri promo filmy.Po 53 rokoch od svojho pôvodného vydania je táto kolekcia s remixami a vylepšeniami priestorového zvuku Stevena Wilsona skvelým doplnkom k sérii albumov Tull. V tom čase bol vytvorený predovšetkým na aktualizáciu príbehu Tull pre americké a európske publikum, ktoré možno nemalo výhodu množstva skladieb, ktoré sa už dostali do uší britských fanúšikov. Album obsahuje strany A a B singlov, ako aj množstvo skladieb vrátane EP ›Life Is A Long Song‹ a spája množstvo skladieb nahratých medzi vydaním prvých troch albumov a albumom ›Thick As A Brick‹. A samozrejme, živý koncert zaznamenaný v Carnegie Hall v New Yorku odráža výkon kapely v celej jej sláve z roku 1970.
