Americká rocková skupina Talking Heads vznikla v New Yorku v roku 1975. Jedným zo zakladateľov bol aj David Byrne. Skupina pomohla definovať základy novej vlny, využívala pritom punkové elementy, funk, art rock a ďalšie avantgardné žánre. Podľa časopisu Rolling Stone patrí medzi stovku najdôležitejších hudobných telies histórie. Medzi jej najznámejšie nahrávky patria single Psycho Killer alebo Once In A Lifetime.
"More Songs About Buildings and Food" je druhý štúdiový album, vydaný 14. júla 1978 u vydavateľstva Sire Records. Bol to prvý z troch albumov, ktoré produkoval spolupracovník Brian Eno, a kapela sa na ňom posunula k čoraz tanečnejšiemu štýlu, pričom skombinovala nezvyčajný prejav speváka Davida Byrnea s novým dôrazom na rytmickú sekciu zloženú z basgitaristky Tiny Weymouth a jej manžela, bubeníka Chrisa Frantza.Album dosiahol 29. miesto v americkom rebríčku popových albumov časopisu Billboard a 21. miesto v britskom rebríčku albumov. Na albume sa objavil prvý singel kapely, ktorý sa dostal do top 30, cover verzia skladby „Take Me to the River“ od Ala Greena.
