Album ponúka kombináciu glam rocku a heavy metalu a len v Anglicku sa ho predalo takmer 1,5 milióna kópií.
„One Way Ticket to Hell...and Back“ je druhý štúdiový album skupiny The Darkness, ktorý produkoval Roy Thomas Baker (Queen, The Rolling Stones, David Bowie). Album, pôvodne vydaný v novembri 2005, dosiahol 11. miesto v britských hitparádach a odvtedy získal zlatú platňu v Spojenom kráľovstve aj Austrálii. Album je plný falzetových úderov, gitarových hrdinstiev a zámerne prehnaných efektov a je radostnou oslavou najbláznivejších rockových tradícií.
