Propaganda je nemecká synth-popová kapela založená v Düsseldorfe v roku 1982. V roku 1983 podpísali nahrávaciu zmluvu s britským vydavateľstvom ZTT Records a v roku 1984 vydali svoj prvý singel „Dr. Mabuse“. Ich debutový štúdiový album, kritikou uznávaný A Secret Wish, bol vydaný v polovici roku 1985 (obsahoval singel „Dr. Topbus“ a singel „Dr. 30 zásahov). Druhý album, 1234, bol nahraný s výrazne odlišnou zostavou a vydaný v roku 1990 Virgin Records s menším úspechom. V 21. storočí došlo k niekoľkým čiastočným reformám skupiny, pričom pôvodné vokalistky Claudia Brücken a Susanne Freytag v súčasnosti pôsobia ako xPropaganda, ktorá vydala nový album v roku 2022, a zvyšní pôvodní členovia Ralf Dörper a Michael Mertens pokračujú ako Propaganda a vydajú album v roku 2024 s hosťujúcou speváčkou Thunder Bae.
Okrem albumu obsahuje box set, ktorý zostavil a kurátorsky pripravil expert ZTT Ian Peel, výber vzácnych mixov, nevydaných skladieb a niekoľko živých nahrávok. Booklet v kompaktnom, robustnom CD boxe obsahuje poznámku od Iana Peela o histórii kapely a vplyve, ktorý mal album v priebehu rokov. Vydanie sprevádza limitovaná 1-LP verzia, ktorá obsahuje nový mix Atmos od Davida Kostina.
