Nightmares On Wax & Adrian Sherwood - In A Space Outta Dub CD
Adrian Maxwell Sherwood (narodený 20. januára 1958) je anglický hudobný producent špecializujúci sa na žáner dubovej hudby. Vytvoril charakteristický produkčný štýl založený na aplikácii dubových efektov a techník mixovania dubu na iné formy elektronickej tanečnej hudby a populárnej hudby mimo tohto žánru. Adrian je považovaný za priekopníka v rozvíjajúcom sa žánri reggae-EDM. Veľa spolupracoval s rôznymi reggae umelcami, ako aj s hudobníkmi ako Keith LeBlanc, Doug Wimbish a Skip McDonald. Sherwood remixoval skladby od Coldcut, Depeche Mode, The Woodentops, Primal Scream, Pop Will Eat Itself, Sinéad O'Connor, Skinny Puppy a Ministry. Ako hudobný producent spolupracoval s rôznymi nahrávacími spoločnosťami; jeho najznámejšou je však On-U Sound Records, ktorú založil v roku 1979. Sherwood bol členom kapely Tackhead. Považuje sa za hluchého na tóny a zameriava sa skôrna tvorbu zvukov a hluku než na melódiu.
Pri príležitosti 20. výročia albumu „In A Space Outta Sound“ odovzdal George Evelyn, známy aj ako DJ E.A.S.E., vedenie dubového majstra Adriana Sherwooda, ktorý vytvoril vzrušujúcu reinterpretáciu ôsmich skladieb z pôvodného albumu, pričom zostal verný koreňom reggae a sound systemu, ktoré ho definovali. Výsledkom je svieži pohľad na milovanú klasiku, v tradícii albumov ako „No Protection“ od Massive Attack a „Lucifer On The Moon“ od Spoon. Obsahuje odvážne reinterpretácie ikonických skladieb ako „You Wish“ (tu prezentovaná ako „You Bliss“) a „Flip Ya Lid“ (transformovaná na „Flippin Eck“). Okrem svojho charakteristického mixážneho pultu Sherwood priviedol aj niektorých kľúčových hudobníkov On-U-Sound, aby pridali ďalšiu inštrumentáciu, vďaka čomu je táto spolupráca oveľa viac než len súčet jej častí.

Philip David Charles Collins sa narodil v Putney, v londýnskej štvrti, v roku 1951. Herec, bubeník, skladateľ, producent a člen skupín Flaming Youth, Genesis a Brand X. Dnes žije na Floride. Je jedným z troch interpretov (popri Paulovi McCartneymu a Michaelovi Jacksonovi), ktorý celosvetovo predal viac ako 100 miliónov albumov ako sólový interpret a ako člen skupiny. Debutoval v roku 1981 albumom Face Value. Patrí k najúspešnejším spevákom posledného dvadsaťročia dvadsiateho storočia.
Phil Collins sa v roku 2016 vracia k svojej hudobnej minulosti a prehráva svoje najväčšie hity s „The Singles“. Táto deluxe verzia obsahuje celkovo 45 skladieb, s ktorými Phil Collins slávil medzinárodný úspech. Na rozdiel od iných formátov sú tu skladby zoradené v chronologickom poradí. Solitude - Sound Of Absent Life CD
Finská kapela The Solitude je označována za "supergroup", protože ji tvoří veteráni finské metalové scény. Kapelu původně založil bubeník Janne Parviainen (známý z kapely Ensiferum) již před více než 30 lety. Tehdy začínali hraním coververzí legendárních Candlemass. Projekt byl na dlouhou dobu uložen k ledu a k jeho vzkříšení došlo až v posledních letech. Prezentují se jako „Epic Doom Metal“.
Album finských Solitude s názvem „The Sound of Absent Life“ vyjde v dubnu 2026. Nahrávalo se živě na analogové pásky ve studiu Finnvox, aby zvuk zůstal syrový a autentický. Na albu spolupracovala zvučná jména finské scény – mix měl na starosti Hiili Hiilesmaa (HIM, Amorphis) a mastering Mika Jussila (Nightwish, Motörhead). Kapela odmítá moderní digitální dokonalost. Sází na upřímnost, nedokonalost a „poctivý epický doom“.

Corrosion Of Conformity - Good God/Baad Man CD
Corrosion of Conformity je americká heavymetalová kapela z Raleigh v Severnej Karolíne, ktorá vznikla v roku 1982. Počas svojej existencie prešla kapela niekoľkými zmenami v zostave, pričom jediným stálym členom je hlavný gitarista Woody Weatherman. Weatherman, zakladajúci basgitarista Mike Dean, zakladajúci bubeník Reed Mullin a spevák/rytmický gitarista Pepper Keenan (ktorý sa ku kapele pridal v roku 1989) sú všeobecne považovaní za jej „klasickú“ zostavu. Po prestávke v roku 2006 sa Corrosion of Conformity vrátili v roku 2010 bez Keenana, ktorý bol zaneprázdnený koncertovaním a nahrávaním s Downom, ale v decembri 2014 oznámili svoje opätovné stretnutie s ním. Odvtedy došlo k ďalším zmenám v zostave, pričom John Green nahradil Mullina po jeho smrti v roku 2020 a Dean (ktorý Corrosion of Conformity prvýkrát opustil v roku 1987 a vrátil sa v roku 1993) z kapely opäť odišiel v roku 2024.
Americké heavy metalové legendy Corrosion Of Conformity vydávajú svoj dlho očakávaný nový album s názvom Good God / Baad Man. Odkedy nás ich posledný album zasiahol ako tona tehál, vo svete Corrosion Of Conformity sa toho udialo veľa. V roku 2018, keď „No Cross No Crown“ zasiahol ako rock'n'rollová atómová bomba, osvedčená zostava Corrosion Of Conformity v zložení Pepper Keenan (spev, gitara), Woody Weatherman (gitara), Reed Mullin (bicie) a Mike Dean (basgitara) bola stále neporušená. Štyria bratia, ktorých spája desaťročia dlhá história, ktorá sa začala okolo roku 1982 s potulnou bandou tínedžerov-punkárov v Raleigh v Severnej Karolíne.

Už více než sto let hlídá Myslbekova socha milence na Petříně. Položme si otázku: Je tohle uhlazené dílo opravdový Mácha? Nebo se v něm skrývá alespoň částečná pravda?
Částečná ano. V autorovi Máje zaznívala i libozvučná struna. Ovšem přečtěte si tuto báseň celou… a sami řekněte, zda je v ní více temných, nebo světlých nálad a tónů.
Stejně tomu bylo s reálným Karlem Hynkem Máchou, než se z něj – po bohužel tak brzké smrti – stala „mramorová busta“. Ti, kteří ho mají zafixovaného jako věčného jinocha s blaženým úsměvem, asi s údivem uslyší o jeho prudkém střídání nálad či vznětlivosti. A to není všechno, nacházíme v něm také pragmatickou notu: výborný student na všech stupních, cílevědomý začínající právník, překvapivě pragmatický obchodník…
Přičtěte si k tomu všemu širokou paletu talentů – nadaný básník, prozaik a dramatik (ale i hudebník), řemeslně zdatný malíř, suverénní řečník a herec, neúnavný cestovatel sportovního ducha –, a stojí před Vámi Někdo s velkým N. Když k tomu přidáme fakt, že Máj v našich literárních poměrech předběhl dobu (ba v jistém ohledu nebyl „dohnán“ dodnes), Máchův stupňující se neklid v posledních letech života, a nakonec jeho smrt, kterou nemůžeme nazvat jinak než tragickou a zbytečnou, pak nám tato osobnost nemůže být ani po dvou stoletích lhostejná.
Osvědčený tandem Otomar Dvořák a Josef Pepson Snětivý se nepouští do úmorných rozborů každé řádky v Máchově literární pozůstalosti ani nepředkládá klasický cestopis. Dívá se na Hynka jako na nevšedního člověka: nikoli jako na idol nebo na rozervaného „rebela bez příčiny“, ale celistvě a s vědomím soukromých i společenských souvislostí.
Autoři – stejně jako jejich hrdina – obdivují krásu a rozmanitost českých sídel a krajiny. Sledují ho tedy v Praze a v dalších městech, ale především na cestách. Mácha se totiž stal i průkopníkem českého turismu a jedním z těch, kteří obrazem a zápisky začali mapovat naši nádhernou zemi.

Vzhledem k tomu, kde všude tyto stopy nacházíme, se tato první máchovská kniha omezuje na léta dětství, dospívání a rozletu do světa dospělých. Děj je přibližně ohraničen letopočty 1810 a 1832.
