Legenda taneční a elektropopové hudby. Megadeth je americká thrash metalová skupina založená a vedená Daveom Mustainom. Svoju slávu získala v 80. rokoch krátko po jej vytvorení v roku 1983, čím je často zaraďovaná ako jedna z „Big Four Of Thrash Metal“, spolu s Metallicou, Anthraxom a Slayerom.
"Countdown to Extinction" je piaty štúdiový album, vydaný 14. júla 1992 prostredníctvom Capitol Records. Bolo to druhé štúdiové vydanie skupiny, ktoré obsahovalo „klasickú“ zostavu Davea Mustainea, Martyho Friedmana, Davida Ellefsona a Nicka Menzu, pričom všetci sa podieľali na písaní piesní na albume.
