Johanne and Knud lived close to the town of Kjöge, where there are many gardens that extend as far as the river. There is not much else, but it is charming in summer! It was under the willow-tree in one of these gardens that Johanne and Knud spent a great deal of their time and theirs was a beautiful friendship.

Šťastná rodina
Kolem starého opuštěného zámku rostla džungle lopuchů. Pod velkými zelenými listy žili dva staří hlemýždi, potomci starého rodu. Jejich předky si kdysi panstvo ze zámku vychutnávalo jako delikatesu podávanou na stříbrných talířích. Oba hlemýždi se těší na jediné – chtějí se také stát pochoutkou.

Bronzový kanec
Ve Florencii mají bronzovou fontánu ve tvaru kance, kterému z tlamy stříká voda. Jednoho večera se sem přišel napít chudý chlapec. Vedle fontány našel pár listů salátu a kaštany, a protože byl hladový, tak je snědl. Rozhodl se přenocovat na zádech sochy, ale o půlnoci ho něco probudilo. Kanec oživl! Tak začalo vzrušující dobrodružství.
