Okolie Donovál oplýva krásou, široko-ďaleko nevídanou. Ležia totiž v širokom horskom sedle na styku Starohorských vrchov a Veľkej Fatry. Široký a hlboký prechod medzi dvoma veľkými horskými masívmi oddávna umožňoval ľuďom, aby práve tadiaľto viedli ich cesty. Postupne začali v horách hľadať drahé kovy, pásť dobytok či rúbať drevo. Nakoniec sa tu i usadili a urobili viac než dobre. Veď kde môže byť človeku lepšie ako priamo v lone malebnej prírody, Horská obec sa nachádza severne od Banskej Bystrice v horskom sedle medzi pohoriami Veľká Fatra a Starohorské vrchy. Tvorí ju sedem pôvodných osád: Bully, Polianka, Mistríky, Mišúty, Hanesy, Sliačany a Donovaly. Názov obce bol pomenovaný podľa najväčšej z nich, osade Donovaly. Obec Donovaly patrí medzi najvýznamnejšie strediská cestovného ruchu v regióne, ktoré ponúka plnohodnotné športové a rekreačné možnosti počas celého roka. Publikace analyzuje východiska, průběh a výsledky parlamentních voleb na Slovensku v roce 2016, které svými politickými důsledky dosahují charakteru politického zemětřesení. Kniha je rozdělena do tří pomyslných částí. První část (kapitoly jedna až tři) popisuje volební vstupy: složení kandidátních listin relevantních politických stran, proměny veřejného mínění a podpory voličů a kampaň jednotlivých kandidujících subjektů. Druhá část (kapitoly čtyři až šest) analyzuje samotné volební výsledky. Rozebírá strukturu teritoriální voličské podpory stran, trendy volební účasti a výsledky přednostního hlasování. Třetí část je tvořena pouze sedmou kapitolou. V ní přibližujeme proces vzniku nové vládní koalice a zasazujeme jej do širšího srovnávacího rámce příležitostí, hrozeb a dilemat vyplývajících z účasti na vládní moci.
