Otázku, zda se dějí zázraky. nelze nikdy zodpovědět na základě pouhé zkušenosti. Každá událost, která může být prohlášena za zázrak, je v poslední instanci něco, co vidíme, slyšíme, cítíme, chutnáme či hmatáme. A naše smysly nejsou neomylné.
