Povídky Lucy Maud Montgomeryové 1896 až 1901
Lucy Maud Montgomeryová se narodila 30. listopadu 1874 v Cliftonu (dnes New London) na Ostrově prince Edwarda v Kanadě. Již za svého života dosáhla mezinárodního věhlasu a zapsala Ostrov prince Edwarda a Kanadu na světovou literární mapu. Nejvíce ji proslavily knihy o Anně ze Zeleného štítu, ale byla také plodnou autorkou povídek a poezie. Před svou smrtí v roce 1942 vydala přibližně 500 povídek a básní a dvacet románů. Toto vydání obsahuje její povídky, které napsala v letech 1896 až 1901.
