Tak ste si o mne, Alcatrazovi Smedrym, prečítali všetko, aj to, ako ma vytrhli z bežného života vo vašom normálnom svete a nasadili do boja proti knihovníkom (tým pakom!). Nečakal som však, že po tom, ako som si v prvom diele s tým všetkým hrdinsky poradil, sa bezhlavo vrhnem do akcie na nepriateľskom území: v Alexandrijskej knižnici, kde sa - spolu s dedom a našou mrzutou strážkyňou Bastilou, jej ešte mrzutejšou matkou a sesternicou s prazvláštnym nadaním - postavíme proti kurátorom (duchom, ktorí vám s potešením požičajú knihu, ak vám nevadí, že za ňu zaplatíte svojou dušou) a niekoľkým novým otravným knihovníkom, ktorí nás neznášajú už len za to, že dýchame... a s radosťou nás znesú zo sveta. Nič z toho sa však nevyrovná tej hrôze, ktorú prežijeme, ak sa nám podarí nájsť... MÔJHO OTCA! (Tu si predstavte dramatickú hudbu...)
