Cure, The - Show (30th Anniversary Edition) 2LP
The Cure je anglická rocková skupina založená v roku 1978 v Crawley, West Sussex. Počas mnohých zmien v zostave od vzniku kapely zostal gitarista, hlavný spevák a skladateľ Robert Smith jediným stálym členom, hoci basgitarista Simon Gallup bol prítomný takmer po celú históriu kapely. Ich debutový album Three Imaginary Boys (1979) spolu s niekoľkými skoršími singlami zaradil skupinu do post-punkových a new wave hnutí, ktoré sa objavili v Spojenom kráľovstve. Počnúc druhým albumom Seventeen Seconds (1980) si skupina osvojila nový, čoraz temnejší a trýznivejší štýl, ktorý spolu so Smithovým pódiovým vzhľadom mal silný vplyv na vznikajúci žáner gothic rocku, ako aj subkultúru, ktorá nakoniec tvorené okolo žánru. Po vydaní štvrtého albumu skupiny Pornography (1982) Smith vniesol do hudby skupiny väčšiu popovú citlivosť a následne zožala celosvetový mainstreamový úspech. Z ich singlovej kompilácie Standing on a Beach (1986)sa do roku 1989 celosvetovo predalo štyri milióny kópií a svoj komerčný vrchol dosiahli s albumami Disintegration (1989) a Wish(1992). The Cure vydali 13 štúdiových albumov, dve EP a viac ako 30 singlov a celosvetovo predali viac ako 30 miliónov albumov. The Cure boli uvedení do Rock and Roll Hall of Fame v roku 2019.
"The Show" je živý album vydaný v roku 1993. Nahrávalo sa naživo počas dvoch nocí v The Palace of Auburn Hills, Auburn Hills, Michigan (predmestie Detroitu) v roku 1992, počas úspešného turné Wish. Show vyšla aj ako koncertné video.Tento živý album vyšiel spolu s Paris, ktorý sa nahrával v Paríži. Show sa o niečo viac prikláňala k popovejším a novším materiálom kapely ako „Just Like Heaven“, „Pictures of You“ a „Friday I'm in Love“, zatiaľ čo Paris sa priklonil k ich staršej kultovej klasike.

Jde o zachycenou desátou a finální noc 25. ročníku Meltdown festivalu (jehož kurátorem byl zpěvák Robert Smith) v londýnské Royal Festival Hall v červnu 2018. Smith, Simon Gallup, Jason Cooper, Roger O'Donnell a Reeves Gabrels zahráli chronologicky vždy po jedné skladbě z každého jejich studiového alba, kterých bylo celkem třináct. Šlo tak o předvedení evoluce hudby The Cure.

Jde o výroční koncert odehraný 7. července 2018 v Londýně, na kterém zaznělo 29 písní během 135 minut pro 65 000 fanoušků. The Cure odehráli set, ve kterém odprezentovali čtyři dekády svojí kariéry. Nechyběly skladby jako Just Like Heaven, Lovesong, High a The End Of The World. Koncert byl doplněný o projekce, které doplnily unikátní nálady a emocionální rozměr skladeb, které jsou pro Cure typické.
