Buckle up and join bestselling author and whiskey connoisseur Tristan Stephenson on a Stateside tour and learn all there is to know about the finest whiskey and bourbon America has to offer.
Whiskey in America is a regional product that has evolved in different ways and at a differing pace depending on where you go. Tristan Stephenson's road trip enabled him to visit more than 40 unique distilleries, from long-established makers in the states that are the spiritual home of the industry - Kentucky and Tennessee - to newer craft-distillers in Indiana, Pennsylvania, and even California and Texas. In his own unique style, which is both fiercely entertaining and meticulously well-researched, Tristan weaves together the full and fascinating story of American whiskey, from its history and production methods to the origins of iconic cocktails still enjoyed in bars around the world today.

Byznys trip
Všude fungují podobné principy a procesy. Všude je to o lidech, o přístupu a hlavně o dodržování pravidel a následování vize firmy.

Na konci cesty - Krematórium v Bratislave - At the End of the Road The Bratislava Crematorium
Text Matúša Dullu v slovenčine a angličtine sprevádzajú umelecké fotografie Olje Triašky Stefanović. Snímky citlivo zachytávajú premeny krematória a prostredia, v ktorom sa nachádza, počas jednotlivých ročných období. Publikácia vychádza pri príležitosti päťdesiateho výročia vzniku prvého slovenského krematória.

Beatles, The - Abbey Road (50th Anniversary) LP

The Road to Wigan Pier
If there is one man to whom I do feel myself inferior, it is a coalminer. In the mid-1930s, George Orwell was given an assignment from his publisher - to write a book about unemployment and social conditions in the economically depressed north of England. Revolutionary for its time, The Road to Wigan Pier documents Orwell's stint in towns likes Barnsley, Sheffield and Wigan in 1936, where he met and observed working-class people living in the bleak industrial heartlands of Yorkshire and Lancashire.
Orwell graphically and emphatically describes the hardships of ordinary people living in cramped slum housing, working in dangerous mines and growing hungry through malnutrition and social injustice. It is an honest, gripping and humane study that also looks at socialism as a solution to the problems facing working-class northerners - something many readers at the time were uncomfortable discussing. The Road to Wigan Pier cemented ideas that would be found in Orwell's later works, and remains a powerful portrait of poverty, injustice and class divisions in Britain to this day.
