Shape of Things to Come
This huge book of nearly 700 pages long is the largest on contemporary sculpture yet to appear. It is itself an object. The sequence creates an artistic vision of the future with reference to H.G. Wells and Stanley Kubrick's masterpiece, the film "2001". The objects presented are derived from every conceivable material and vary from abstract arrangements to re-configurations of everyday forms in magnificent transformations of the mundane, such as giant electric sockets, to the recurring theme of the human body. It includes an introduction by Meghan Dailey.

Wishes Come in Threes
A heartwarming, tenderly witty debut about Phyll, a girl filled with hope, whose summer is transformed when she makes an unusual friend.
At the start of the summer, Phyll longs for three things: less knobbly knees; a dog of her own; the cloud of depression that lingers over her mum to blow away in the Cornish sea breeze now that they've moved. But wishing is easy. It's magic that's in short supply, or so Phyll thinks until she meets the mysterious Mr Djinn at the old folks' home. Mr Djinn is a firm believer in the power of wishing for the right things. He would be, since he claims to be a genie. Genie or not, Phyll is just pleased to have someone other than her journal with whom to share her thoughts and feelings. And she has a lot of those, what with Hilda the bully at summer camp, a stranger on the beach who seems very interested in other people's dogs and waiting, hoping, for her mum's sadness to lift. But as Phyll is about to learn, wishing hard enough, wishing well enough can bring its own magic...

Where You Come From
A powerful exploration of identity and belonging, Where You Come From is the major new novel from internationally acclaimed and bestselling author Sasa Stanisic
Sasa Stanisic's Where You Come From is a novel about a village where only thirteen people remain, a country that no longer exists, a shattered family that is his own. Blending autofiction, fable, and choose-your-own-adventure, Stanisic traces a family's escape during the conflict in Yugoslavia, and the years that followed as they built a life in Germany. As he explores what it means to be European today, he examines how it feels to learn a new language, to find new friends and new jobs, and to build an identity between countries and cultures.
Translated by Damion Searls, Where You Come From is about homelands, both remembered and imagined. A book that bends form and genre with wit, heart, and exceptional craftsmanship to explore questions that lie inside all of us: about language and shame, about arrival and making it just in time, about luck and death, about what role our origins and memories play in our lives.

Come to This Court and Cry
To probe the past is to submit the memory of one's ancestors to a certain kind of trial. In this case, the trial came to me.
A few years ago Linda Kinstler discovered that a man fifty years dead - a former Nazi who belonged to the same killing unit as her grandfather - was the subject of an ongoing criminal investigation in Latvia. The proceedings threatened to pardon his crimes. They put on the line hard-won facts about the Holocaust at the precise moment that the last living survivors - the last legal witnesses - were dying.
Across the world, Second World War-era cases are winding their way through the courts. Survivors have been telling their stories for the better part of a century, and still judges ask for proof. Where do these stories end? What responsibilities attend their transmission, so many generations on? How many ghosts need to be put on trial for us to consider the crime scene of history closed?
In this major non-fiction debut, Linda Kinstler investigates both her family story and the archives of ten nations to examine what it takes to prove history in our uncertain century. Probing and profound, Come to this Court and Cry is about the nature of memory and justice when revisionism, ultra-nationalism and denialism make it feel like history is slipping out from under our feet. It asks how the stories we tell about ourselves, our families and our nations are passed down, how we alter them, and what they demand of us.

Come Together: The Architecture of Multigenerational Living
Multiple generations of the same family living under one roof is not a new idea. But what is new is the way architects around the world are re-embracing this form of living, back by increasingly popular demand. While the 20th century experience emphasized a single-family home for the nuclear family and bachelor pads, we are now seeing more tiers of the family unit choosing to live together. Come Together explores the why, the what, the where and, perhaps most importantly, the how of the homes that succeed to be livable for all generational tiers - with designs that are not only architecturally stunning, but balancing private and communal spaces to come together.
