Hosszúhíd - A Kárpátok farkasai
A Csiglemezőből megismert északi származású, de a székelyek között, Székelyországban felnövő Keménd a Ménmarót elleni csata után a Mecsek hegységtől délre telepedik le tizedével. A kis közösség szépen gyarapodik, megveti lábát, gyökeret ereszt a Vas-hegy mellett.
A Brangna várából visszatérő Keménd beszámol Árpád fejedelemnek a látottakról, aki egy a magyarokhoz csatlakozott másik törzs, a kabarok körmönfont ravaszságáról híres vezére, Aba nagyúr alá rendeli a székely tizedfőt. Több tízezres magyar sereg indul Brangna várának elfoglalására, és a harcból a székelyeknek is ki kell venniük a részüket - sokszor a legelső sorban..

The Parisian Chic Look Book
A brand-new book of fashion secrets by New York Times best-selling author, model, and Parisienne extraordinaire, Ines de la Fressange. Ines de la Fressange's personal style is chic yet relaxed in every situation. While a navy-and-white- striped nautical top with slim, cropped jeans and flats is a classic French look, it's harder to pinpoint how Parisians unfailingly blend elegance and allure with such ease. In this sequel to her best seller Parisian Chic, the world's favorite style icon demonstrates how to achieve her quintessentially Parisian look throughout the year. Her style secrets start with the building blocks of wardrobe staples--an LBD that can be dressed up or down, timeless riding boots you'll wear for a lifetime, or the perfect pair of jeans--which she combines with panache to suit every situation, adding seasonal items like costume bangles, a top in this season's on-trend color, or the right shade of lip color.

Toward a Concrete Utopia
In Yugoslavia's "Third Way" architecture, Brutalism meets the fantastical
Squeezed between the two rival Cold War blocs, Yugoslav architecture consistently adhered to a modernist trajectory. As a founding nation of the Non-Aligned Movement, Yugoslavia became a major exporter of modernist architecture to Africa and the Middle East in a postcolonial world. By merging a variety of local traditions and contemporary international influences in the context of a unique Yugoslav brand of socialism, often described as the "Third Way," local architects produced a veritable "parallel universe" of modern architecture during the 45 years of the country's existence. This remarkable body of work has sparked recurrent international interest, yet a rigorous interpretative study never materialized in the United States until now.
Published in conjunction with a major exhibition on the architectural production of Yugoslavia between 1948 and 1980, this is the first publication to showcase an understudied but important body of modernist architecture. Featuring new scholarship and previously unpublished archival materials, this richly illustrated publication sheds light on key ideological concepts of Yugoslav architecture, urbanism and society by delving into the exceptional projects and key figures of the era, among them Bogdan Bogdanovic, Zoran Bojovic, Drago Galic, Janko Konstantinov, Georgi Konstantinovski, Niko Kralj, Boris Magas, Juraj Neidhardt, Joze Plecnik, Svetlana Kana Radevic, Edvard Ravnikar, Vjenceslav Richter, Milica Steric, Ivan Straus and Zlatko Ugljen.

The Details : Iconic Men's Accessories
The Details identifies the authentic classics amongst men's accessories and explains how each item has developed. The book tells the stories of their design; the brand, company, or iconic figure that started it all; and how each item has shaped the way men dress today. The leather biker boot, as we know it today, takes its stylistic cues from the toughened boots worn by the loggers and railway engineers of the American industrial revolution. The origins of the ubiquitous baseball cap can be traced back to the New York Knick's team caps of 1849 which were made of straw. From classic diving watches to the simple pocket square, The Details examines the most important of men's accessories and offers a complete guide to choosing your own examples.
