Claudia Sini sa narodila 19. júna 1975 v Turíne. Od svojich rodičov dostala dar viery a v rodine sa naučila otvorenosti, pohostinnosti, priateľstvu, solidárnosti a pracovitosti. Už ako malá sa rozhodla, že sa stane lekárkou. Vyrastala medzi školou a oratóriom. Po maturite začala v jej srdci rásť túžba úplne sa darovať Bohu. Rozhodla sa pre Sekulárny inštitút dobrovoľníčok dona Bosca (VDB), ktorý ju nadchol svojím spôsobom života a entuziazmom.
Lekárkou sa stala v roku 2001 a ďalej pokračovala v štúdiu v odbore anestézia a resuscitácia. V roku 2008 jej diagnostikovali onkologické ochorenie – Hodgkinov lymfóm.
Do neba odišla 19. júna 2011 v deň svojich 36. narodenín. V tejto knižke nám jej nádherný život odhalia zápisky z troch denníkov.
