A Corvina tematikus útikönyvsorozatának harmadik kötete az egyedülálló magyarországi vízkincsre települt gyógyfürdőket és gyógyszállókat mutatja be országrészenként. A könyv használatát nagyban elősegíti, hogy mindjárt az elején tájékoztatást kapunk a kötetben előforduló szakkifejezésekről és a különböző termálvizek összetételéről.
Az egyes országrészeken belül megismerkedhetünk a jelentősebb gyógyfürdőkkel és gyógyszállókkal, az egész ország területéről összesen 122-vel, azok történetével és szolgáltatásaival, valamint az adott környék látnivalóival is. Minden egyes létesítménynél szerepel az elérhetőség, a nyitva tartás, az egyes medencék és szolgáltatások felsorolása, a gyógyvíz összetétele és azoknak a betegségeknek a fölsorolása, amelyekre a vizet ajánlják.
Hogy a kép még teljesebb legyen, a kötet végén megnevezünk további 110 fürdőt és hotelt, amelyek ugyan nincsenek gyógyfürdővé nyilvánítva, de magas oldottásványianyag-tartalmú termálvízzel rendelkeznek. Když těsně před aprílem 2010 redaktoři britského týdeníku The Economist sestavili "novou a hlavně lepší" mapu Evropy, přesunuli Česko na jih od Nizozemska, tam, kde na současné mapě Evropy leží Belgie, a vyjádřili přesvědčení, že Češi by mohli skvěle vycházet se svými novými nizozemskými sousedy. Spolupráce by pak mohla probíhat v novém společenství s názvem Nizočeszemsko nebo Česnizozemsko. Jenže nahradit takovými jazykolamy zažitý Benelux by asi neprošlo a ani výměna Česka s Belgií se v dohledné době moc pravděpodobná nezdá. Ovšem i bez velkolepého stěhování zemí a národů se Češi a Nizozemci stále častěji potkávají.

Lacná kniha Česko - Od Švýcarska po Těšín (-10%)
"České historické země, Čechy, Morava a Slezsko, území dnešní České republiky uprostřed Evropy, nikdy nebyly izolovaným ostrovem, refugiem bez jakýchkoliv kontaktů s nejbližším okolím. Na jihu, západě a severu to byly kontakty s živlem německým, na severovýchodě s polským. Navíc středem vlastního území vedla ještě zemská hranice mezi Čechami a Moravou, Českým královstvím a Moravským markrabstvím, a byly tu „jazykové ostrovy“. Na všech styčných místech nebyly takové hranice neprodyšné, nevedly tudy jen pašerácké či legální obchodní stezky; i změnou vlád a vlastníků se co chvíli samy hranice měnily a vlnily. Tak vznikly i „hraniční Böhmischdorfy“ či podobné názvy, rozlišující přívlastkem příslušnost tu k německému (moravskému...), tu k českému živlu. Mnoho obcí, jako Česká Kamenice, si jméno ponechalo dodnes, jiné jen ztratily přívlastek Český, Česká nebo České (např. Český Beranov). Poválečný vývoj pak vedl i k úplnému zániku nejen jmen, ale celých obcí (České Nové Domky, Böhmisch Neuhäusl). K tomu si přidejte ještě všechny ty „české“ paralely, připomínající našincům rozmanitou cizinu (České Švýcarsko, Česká Kanada, Česká Sibiř aj.).
Chceme vás provést těmito místy; jako jedno z řešení jsme k tomu zvolili cestu „proti chodu hodinových ručiček“. Začali jsme na severu Čech a přes severozápadní a jihozápadní Čechy jsme dorazili do Čech jižních a středních a potom na severovýchod a východ Čech. To už jsme byli na moravsko-českém pomezí a odtud byl jen krůček k lidským sídlům s českým přívlastkem na Moravě a ve Slezsku.
