Její první vydání vyšlo v roce 2015 a stalo se chovatelským bestsellerem, který nechybí v žádné knihovně milovníka exotického ptactva. První vydání této publikace bylo během jednoho roku beznadějně vyprodána. Kniha byla psána jiným způsobem, než je u nás zvykem, přičemž svým obsahem a doplňující fotogalerií čtenáře doslova nadchla. Druhé a doplněné vydání této knihy vychází více z její anglické verze, která vyšla později než verze česká, a to pod názvem Psittaculture v roce 2018. Do anglické verze vložil autor nejnovější poznatky z chovu papoušků, které získal za více než 50 let aktivní chovatelské činnosti. Tony Silva píše své knihy srozumitelným jazykem, který pochopí i naprostí začátečníci, v knize navíc najdeme také celou řadu chovatelských příběhů, jež vysvětlují dané chovatelské postupy.
