Krkonošské koledy
Josef Horák (1883 -1968) učitel a řídící učitel na školách v Jablonci nad Jizerou, Kruhu u Jilemnice a v Martinicích. Byl zakladatelem a sbormistrem Pěveckého sdružení učitelů krkonošských, zároveň také amatérským regionálním etnografem, především sběratelem lidových koled, osvětovým pracovníkem a spisovatelem.
Vydání se dočkaly Krkonošské koledy a Vánoční povídání o koledách z Podkrkonoší a příručka Občanská výchova. V rukopise zůstalo šest knížek povídek a postřehů z hor i "kraje" a vzpomínkový sborník Rožd'alovice na přelomu století. V rodných Rožďalovicích, kam se vrátil na penzi, založil a dirigoval pěvecký sbor a dal podnět ke vzniku tamního muzea.
