In 2005 there was as a street performance in Florence that featured a white canvas with a light grey sentence reading, Art is Everywhere, temporarily exhibited on the streets. Studie Denisy Vostré je z mnoha aspektů dílo pozoruhodné. Pro mne kromě jiného i proto, že jsem se dověděl řadu věcí, které jsem jen tušil, nebo o nichž jsem vůbec nevěděl, a tak objevil nové souvislosti: studie zařazuje a včleňuje japonské reálie –což znamená veškerý materiál japonského původu, o němž se v práci píše – do obecných divadelních souvislostí, které se týkají i současného divadla, jeho praxe a teorie. Autorka tak činí na principu scénologickém. Od prvních vět své práce dává tento základní pohled vědomě, argumentovaně a důsledně najevo. Japonsko definuje jako jeviště a o jeho obyvatelích prohlašuje, že jsou scéničtí, tj. disponují souborem vlastností, který „vybízí ke sledování“. Odtud potom vidí i japonskou tradici obřadného chování, které stojí podle autorky na hranici „jakési ‘přirozené’ scéničnosti a záměrné, tj. specifické scénovanosti“. Japonskou scéničnost chápe Denisa Vostrá především jako schopnost „zasazení věcí často velice prostých do jistých – a často přímo rituálních – souvislostí, v nichž přestávají být automatické, takže je […] umožněno je přímo prožít jako (vždy) nové…“

Tématem publikace je zkoumání vývoje na poli současné galerijní scény v České republice za posledních dvacet let. Výzkum se zaměřuje na nezávislé galerijní instituce, jež jsou vedeny mladými vizuálními umělci, a na jejich vztah k preferovaným prezentovaným výtvarným formám, jakými jsou aktivismus, performance, umění site-specific a video art. Pasivní část výzkumu probíhala v rovině soustavné dokumentace projevů této umělecké participace na galerijní scéně v kontextu současného vizuálního umění především po roce 2000, kdy jsou tyto aktivity nejmarkantnější.

Jde o přístup stejně tak emocionální jako analytický, zahrnující výzkum i původní tvorbu: Khhhhhhh zkoumá trnité stezky poznání v konfrontaci s moudrostí, okamžitost ústního sdělení oproti odtažitosti psaného slova i doktrínu versus pedagogiku v srdci kolektivní praxe a výzkumu.

Dvě nebo tři věci, co vím o Provo
Provo bylo amsterdamské anarchistické hnutí, které existovalo pouze dva roky (1965-1967), i když dozvuky jeho existence rezonovaly v Nizozemsku i v zahraničí mnoho dalších let. Hnutí Provo svým konceptuálním aktivismem a spekulativními politickými návrhy (tzv. bílé plány) ovládlo představivost celé jedné generace a jednou provždy ovlivnilo podobu holandské politické a kulturní scény. Jednalo se zčásti o umělecké hnutí a zčásti o politickou stranu - Provo bylo volné uskupení, sdružující jedince s nejrůznějšími ambicemi: podvratné plány, umělecké pohnutky, utopické ideje nebo konkrétní projekty. V letech 1965 až 1967 se tyto motivace a programy na krátkou dobu překryly a daly tak vzniknout jedinečnému hnutí. Hnutí, které roku 1967 zlikvidovalo samo sebe deklarovaným aktem "auto-provokace".
