Tarot and the Psychology of the Soul
Tarot and the Psychology of the Soul is part classic guidebook, part provoking how-to, with a dash of stirring tarot philosophy. With a focus on inspiration and inclusivity for all tarot levels, it begins by establishing how we can view the cards as reflections of the psyche and walks readers through how to use the cards for inner work and shadow work. Though we turn to it for answers and solutions, the true power of the tarot is as a mirror. With the right approach, it reflects the tapestry of our psyches, illuminating both conscious will and unconscious longing. It teaches us to befriend our shadows, evoke our imaginations, and attune to the soul’s quiet directive: How am I meant to liv? ith a tone that is both scholarly and soulful, Mariana Louis guides tarotists—whether beginners or seasoned practitioners—through the archetypal approach. Alongside archetypal interpretations of the cards, she grounds readers in the foundations of depth psychology, inner work techniques, and methods of reading. The following topics are also covered:Psycho-spiritual meanings and approaches to the Major and Minor ArcanaA breakdown of how to apply all that the reader has learnedGuidance on how to prepare for readings and how the cards communicateMore than a manual for reading the cards, it is an initiation into their archetypal depth. Tarot and the Psychology of the Soul invites you to use the tarot as a living language of the psyche, helping you listen to your intuitive wisdom, embrace your wholeness, and awaken the answers waiting within.

The Comeback
'An irresistible biography' Evening StandardIt remains the greatest comeback in music history. The Lazarus-like saga of Elvis Presley’s fall and rise, from Army discharge through Sixties Hollywood hell to divine black-leather resurrection. As 1968 dawns, the once ‘King’ of rock’n’roll faces cultural oblivion, a fading star lost in a 24/7 delirium of women, pills and holy mumbo-jumbo, isolated from an America unravelling in its own chaos of war, racism, riots and assassinations. Until, against all odds, his world and theirs collide in the performance of his life. First published four years before Baz Luhrmann’s dramatisation of events in the Oscar-nominated 2022 biopic Elvis, Simon Goddard’s The Comeback is no less a vividly cinematic, pelvic-thrusting blockbuster. This Remastered edition includes a foreword from musician and journalist Bob Stanley.

That's the question plaguing Jack Ryan Jr. He's in Guyana to work a deal to get his company, Hendley Associates, in on the ground floor of this new discovery, but the destruction of the Claiborne and the kidnapping of the Guyanese Interior Minister make it clear that there's a malignant force working to destroy Guyana's oil industry.
It's up to Jack to identify the killers before they draw a bead on him, but how can he do that when the line of demarcation between friend and foe is constantly shifting?

Amikor azonban elkezd üzeneteket kapni Jaytől, a titok váratlan fordulatot vesz – ugyanis az üzenetek nemcsak Aleeza saját kollégiumi szobájából érkeznek, hanem egyenesen a múltból, mindössze hetekkel Jay eltűnése előttről.

Sean Anderson, better known as Big Sean, has reached incredible levels of success in his music career. And while, from the outside, his life looks like a collection of enviable achievements, in truth, he has experienced the highest highs and the lowest lows that come with anxiety and depression. At the age of eighteen, Sean decided to forgo college to sign with Kanye West’s record label. Even though he saw his wildest dreams coming true, he found himself contemplating taking his own life. It was in this, his darkest moments, that he started applying the spiritual practices he’d witnessed his mother embrace throughout his childhood from books like The Four Agreements, The Secret, and many more. From that moment on, Sean has been on a journey of inward reflection, self-acceptance, and continual work to become the best version of himself every day. In these pages he walks you through the five practices—accepting, strategizing, trying, trusting, and manifesting—that have given him the skills and confidence to become the beloved father, musician, and man that he is today. Go Higher dares to ask the question: If we worked on our self-care regularly, instead of only when we were in crisis, how much higher could we go? Breaking Waves
A warm, reflective and uplifting memoir about healing wounds, reclaiming a voice and discovering freedom through the open water. The open water. To the uninitiated, it represents the unknown, an expanse of mystery and uncertainty. But to those who brave the wild waters, it is so much more. A space to heal. A place of communion. A balm to quieten the mind, soothe the soul, and allow you to reconnect with the world and yourself. Emma Simpson discovered wild swimming after a period of immense pain. The Meadow Where Time Stands Still
'Probably the greatest Russian poet of [the 20th] century' New York Times'We know the sources of Pushkin and Blok, but who will tell us from where that new, divine harmony, Mandelshtam's poetry, came from?' Anna AkhmatovaWith a foreword by Nadezhda MandelshtamOsip Mandelshtam, arguably the greatest Russian poet of the twentieth century, died in a Stalinist prison camp at the age of forty-seven. It was not his first arrest - he had already been imprisoned multiple times, as well as tortured, exiled, and blacklisted for the criticism of the Soviet state implicit in his verse. And yet many of his poems survived attempted purges - often hidden in the unlikeliest places, and protected at great risk by his friends and admirers. This volume collects the best of his work, including poems he was unable to publish in his lifetime. Dense and sonorous, his poetry magnificently merges the European past at its best with Russian experience at its worst. Full of light and beauty, bitterness and desolation, Mandelshtam's verse is a powerful expression of the struggle to bear injustice and the poignant dream of a better world.Part of the Pushkin Press Classics series: timeless storytelling by icons of literature, hand-picked from around the globe.Translated by James Greene.Osip Mandelshtam was born into a Jewish family in Warsaw in 1891, but grew up chiefly in St Petersburg. His father was a leather merchant, and their existence was comfortable, in spite of the widespread persecution of Jews in turn-of-the-century Russia. Mandelshtam travelled in Europe and attended university, but abandoned his studies early to devote himself to writing. His first collection, Stone, published when he was only twenty-two, immediately established him as one of Russia's foremost poets. The revolution and the Soviet rule that followed created immense difficulties for Mandelshtam. Unwilling to bend his art to political ends, and increasingly critical of Stalin's leadership, he was imprisoned, tortured, exiled and generally persecuted. He continued to write, releasing another major collection, Tristia, and entrusting poems to his wife Nadezhda and his literary friends, who kept many of his works hidden from the authorities. Once more arrested, on his way to a prison camp, Mandelshtam died of heart failure, according to officials, in 1938.James Greene was born in Berlin in 1938. He studied French and Russian at Oxford. A poet himself, and a prize-winning translator, he worked on several major writers in addition to Mandelshtam, including Fernando Pessoa and Afanasy Fet. He died in 2023.
