A Twist of the Blade
Mercenary. Survivor. Queen.
Casia Greythorne's world has been shattered. Still reeling from a devastating loss and the revelation of an identity she wasn't ready for, she must now also master the strange magic that's awakening within her.
But first she must lead her friends through cursed lands and the dwellings of the gods, away from the crumbling empire and the king-emperor who clutches the crown with ever-bloodier hands. All while knowing the true threat may be someone she came dangerously close to falling for.
Elander Revenmar thought he knew who he was. He had a mission, a god he was content to serve. Then came a woman he should have stayed away from; whose life he never should have saved.
Because salvation comes with a cost.
And some debts must be paid in blood.
Happiness For Beginners
Sometimes to find your way, you have to get really, really lost...
Helen Carpenter has always lived her life as far from the edge as possible. Finding herself newly divorced and a little lost, Helen decides she needs a reset. So when her annoying younger brother convinces her to sign up for a hardcore wilderness survival course, she hopes the adventure will be exactly what she needs.
Instead, it's a disaster. It's nothing like she expected. She doesn't expect the surprise summer blizzard, for example-or the blisters, or the mean pack of sorority girls. And she especially doesn't expect that her annoying brother's even-more-annoying best friend, Jake, would show up for the exact same course-and distract her, derail her, and... kiss her.
But it turns out sometimes disaster can teach you exactly the things you need to learn. Like how to keep going, even when you think you can't. How being scared can make you brave. And how sometimes getting really, really lost is your only hope of getting found.
Shield of Sparrows 1 (Paperback)
Shield of Sparrows is a slow-burn, high-stakes romantasy for fans of Sarah J. Maas and Rebecca Yarros
The gods sent monsters to the five kingdoms to remind mortals they must kneel.
I’ve spent my life kneeling to their will and to my father's. As a princess, my only duty is to wear the crown and obey the king.
I was never meant to rule. Never meant to fight. And I was never supposed to be the daughter who sealed an ancient treaty with her own blood.
But that changed the fateful day I stepped into my father’s throne room. The day a legendary monster hunter sailed to our shores. The day a prince ruined my life.
Now I’m crossing treacherous lands beside a warrior who despises me as much as I despise him bound to a future I didn’t choose and a husband I barely know.
Everyone wants me to be something I’m not a queen, a spy, a sacrifice.
But what if I refused the role chosen for me? What if I made my own rules? What if there’s power in being underestimated?
And what if for the first time I reached for it?

Near to the Wild Heart
Clarice Lispector's sensational, prize-winning debut novel Near to the Wild Heart was published when she was just twenty-three and earned her the name 'Hurricane Clarice'. It tells the story of Joana, from her wild, creative childhood, as the 'little egg' who writes poems for her father, through her marriage to the faithless Otávio and on to her decision to make her own way in the world. As Joana, endlessly mutable, moves through different emotional states, different inner lives and different truths, this impressionistic, dreamlike and fiercely intelligent novel asks if any of us ever really know who we are.
Clarice Lispector was a Brazilian novelist and short story writer. Her innovation in fiction brought her international renown. References to her literary work pervade the music and literature of Brazil and Latin America.
She was born in the Ukraine in 1920, but in the aftermath of World War I and the Russian Civil War, the family fled to Romania and eventually sailed to Brazil. In 1933, Clarice Lispector encountered Hermann Hesse's Steppenwolf, which convinced her that she was meant to write. She published her first novel, Near to the Wildheart in 1943 when she was just twenty-three, and the next year was awarded the Graça Aranha Prize for the best first novel.
Many felt she had given Brazillian literature a unique voice in the larger context of Portuguese literature. After living variously in Italy, the UK, Switzerland and the US, in 1959, Lispector with her children returned to Brazil where she wrote her most influential novels including The Passion According to G.H. She died in 1977, shortly after the publication of her final novel, The Hour of the Star.
Vicious - Sinners of Saint 1
"He was toxic, poison, and he was going to kill everything beautiful in my life if I let him. He was the storm to my cherry blossoms."

To Vicious, Emilia is completely off-limits. A starving artist. His best friend's ex-girlfriend. Pretty and evasive as a cherry blossom. When they were younger, she barged into his life unannounced and turned everything upside down. She discovered his darkest secret, and he made her pay the price. Drove her out of town. Hated and wanted her in equal measure.
It should deter him from chasing her to New York a decade later, but it doesn't. So she still hates him?big deal. She'll have to get used to him.
Because this time, he isn't going anywhere unless he's taking her with him...
Vicious is a standalone book in its own right, and also Book 1 of the Sinners of Saint series. Make sure you immerse yourself fully and read them all...
Things We Never Got Over (Collectors Edition)
Bearded, bad-boy barber Knox prefers to live his life the way he takes his coffee: Alone. Unless you count his basset hound, Waylon. Knox doesn’t tolerate drama, even when it comes in the form of a stranded runaway bride.
Naomi wasn’t just running away from her wedding. She was riding to the rescue of her estranged twin to Knockemout, Virginia, a rough-around-the-edges town where disputes are settled the old-fashioned way…with fists and beer. Usually in that order.
Too bad for Naomi her evil twin hasn’t changed at all. After helping herself to Naomi’s car and cash, Tina leaves her with something unexpected. The niece Naomi didn’t know she had. Now she’s stuck in town with no car, no job, no plan, and no home with an 11-year-old going on thirty to take care of.
There’s a reason Knox doesn’t do complications or high-maintenance women, especially not the romantic ones. But since Naomi’s life imploded right in front of him, the least he can do is help her out of her jam. And just as soon as she stops getting into new trouble he can leave her alone and get back to his peaceful, solitary life.
At least, that’s the plan until the trouble turns to real danger.

Sebastiao Salgado. Amazonia. 45th Ed.
Sebastiao Salgado traveled the Brazilian Amazon and photographed the unparalleled beauty of this extraordinary region for six years: the forest, the rivers, the mountains, the people who live there—an irreplaceable treasure of humanity. Salgado described the Brazilian Amazon as "the last frontier, a mysterious universe of its own, where the immense power of nature can be felt as nowhere else on earth. Here is a forest stretching to infinity that contains one-tenth of all living plant and animal species, the world’s largest single natural laboratory.”
Salgado visited a dozen indigenous tribes that exist in small communities scattered across the largest tropical rainforest in the world. He documented the daily life of the Yanomami, the Asháninka, the Yawanawá, the Suruwahá, the Zo’é, the Kuikuro, the Waurá, the Kamayurá, the Korubo, the Marubo, the Awá, and the Macuxi—their warm family bonds, their hunting and fishing, the manner in which they prepare and share meals, their marvelous talent for painting their faces and bodies, the significance of their shamans, and their dances and rituals.
Sebastiao Salgado has dedicated this book to the indigenous peoples of Brazil’s Amazon region: “My wish, with all my heart, with all my energy, with all the passion I possess, is that in 50 years’ time this book will not resemble a record of a lost world. Amazônia must live on.”
INSTITUTO TERRA
