Rule of Lies
'This book is NUTS! – in the best possible way. A relentless roller coaster ride through the heaven and hell of modern Russia' PETER POMERANZEV 'Written with all the pace and energy of a John Grisham novel … An incredible true story and a great read!' BILL BROWDER 'An astonishing glimpse into a rollercoaster life. A real page-turner' CATHERINE BELTON 'If you want to know how Putin ruined Russia and to understand why it matters, you should read Rule of Lies' OLIVER BULLOUGH 'Jamison Firestone is a legend … his book is a remarkable firsthand account' FIONA HILL An American lawyer’s brilliant, propulsive story of witnessing and playing a part in the transformation of Russia under Yeltsin and Putin. A true tale of fascinating personalities, criminal intrigue, harrowing situations, audacious actions and international politics that combines Bill Browder’s Red Notice with Michael Lewis’s Liar's Poker. Raised by his father, a multimillionaire conman and crack addict who owned Manhattan’s most expensive brothel, twenty-four-year-old Jamison R. Firestone decided to change the channel. He graduated from law school in 1991 and sought his fortune in Gorbachev’s USSR, establishing Russia’s first independent foreign law firm. Out of the frying pan and into the fire, Jamison lived in the maelstrom that was Russia, defending himself and his clients from mafia attacks, dealing with corrupt police officers, having his law office raided by armed commandos, and once having to bug the offices of the Russian police. Jamison was at the centre of some of Russia’s most important events. He employed Sergei Magnitsky who was murdered for uncovering the largest tax theft in Russian history and teamed up with Bill Browder and Alexei Navalny to expose his killers. Along the way he inadvertently taught Navalny to make videos exposing corruption and started a war with the Russian government over passage of the Magnitsky Acts which threatened to sanction Russia’s most powerful people. A real-life story that reads like a spy novel, Rule of Lies goes deep inside contemporary Russia and events that have reshaped the globe. Darkly comic, sometimes horrifying and deeply moving, it is a chilling warning of what can happen when a nascent democracy succumbs to one man’s corrupt iron rule, becoming not only an authoritarian nation but a profoundly criminal one—a true mafia state.

Rewilding
‘Utterly inspiring and empowering’ Jennie Godfrey 'Ten shades of extraordinary’ Rosie Walsh I was fifty-five when I finally stopped pretending. What if real freedom isn’t about reinventing yourself… but about letting the woman you buried years ago grow wild again? To the world, Jane Green had everything: bestselling novels, a beautiful home, the perfect family. Inside, she was disappearing, squeezed into the roles of wife, mother, provider, eternal people-pleaser while her marriage cooled, her children flew, and her own dreams gathered dust. Then she stopped squeezing herself into shapes that didn’t fit. Rewilding is the raw, exhilarating story of what happened next. Of rediscovering the loud, messy, paint-splattered art student she once was. Of choosing meaningful friendships over obligation, creativity over perfection, and the truth over silence. Of learning – messily and joyfully – that home isn’t a place you build for other people. It’s the life you dare to live for yourself. Part memoir, part battle cry, Rewilding is for any woman who has ever felt invisible in her own story. And it’s proof that surrender could be the most radical act of all… and that the most powerful thing you can do is stop trying to be good, and start being free. For readers of Glennon Doyle, Elizabeth Gilbert and Brene Brown Who would you be if you stopped caring what anyone else thought?

'Jenny Knight's writing is brilliant – telling it like it is, full of warmth and humour' Cathy Rentzenbrink 'Powerful … A moving story of female desire, ambition and renewal' Kit de Waal 'A beautiful tale about friendship and reinvention' Fabulous, The Sun ***** A powerful and moving debut novel about coming of age again post-marriage and post-menopause. Claire's life isn't how she thought it would be when she moves into Hunter's Moon. Her long marriage is over, her children have flown the nest, and her work as an illustrator no longer satisfies her. She isn't sure who she is now or what she wants from her life. It wasn't always like this. Once, she had desires and ambitions. When her octogenarian neighbour, Tansy, suffers a fall, Claire’s solitude is broken. Under the older woman’s guidance, she finds solace and a new sense of purpose in regenerating her wild garden. And as the plants grow, Claire retreads the bittersweet journey that brought her to the second half of her life. This is a story of love. Of friendship and desire, of art and nature, of finding love for yourself and for life itself. It is a story of coming of age, once again, of giving up one’s safety net and embracing a new life beyond.

Conversations with My Rabbi
Conversations with My Rabbi is an unforgettable true story and a profound book of wisdom, offering seven timeless teachings for living well in an uncertain world. In September 2022, Nikki Goldstein was comatose and near death in a Sydney ICU when her husband asked Rabbi Eli Schlanger to pray for her. Standing beside her bed, he blew the shofar and whispered ancient prayers. One day later, Nikki began recovering from the life-threatening infection. Doctors called it a miracle. As she regained her health, this secular Jewish woman and the devout rabbi formed an unlikely and beautiful friendship. Coming from profoundly different worlds – one grounded in religious tradition, the other in temporal modernity – they discovered they were seeking answers to the same essential questions. Together, they turned to ancient Jewish teachings for guidance on living more ethically, compassionately, and spiritually. In January 2025, they began to record their conversations as a book. But just weeks before they were to write the final chapter, Eli was killed on Sydney’s Bondi Beach in one of the deadliest mass-casualty shootings in Australian history. Devastated by shock and grief, Nikki vowed that Eli’s legacy and his mission to bring light, love and moral clarity to the world would not die, because his teachings were more necessary than ever. Reflecting the dialogue-driven Jewish intellectual tradition, the question and answer format of Conversations with My Rabbi invites readers to ponder, to question, and to define their own beliefs as they follow Nikki and Eli’s real, raw, tender, sometimes funny, sometimes fierce, yet always deeply human conversations. A repudiation of the madness we are experiencing today, this book is Rabbi Eli’s eternal gift – a guide for all, regardless of faith, who struggle to live with integrity, compassion and courage in a divided and uncertain world

Reloaded – The Good, The Bad & The Rugby
THE HIGHS. THE HEARTBREAKS. THE HANGOVERS. THE PERSONAL. THE VULNERABLE. THE DOWNRIGHT ABSURD. IT'S TIME TO RELOAD. The rugby boys are back – and this time, it’s personal. Alex, Mike, and Hask return with their second book, ready to tackle everything from rugby highs and lows, to the absurdities of everyday life. As was widely predicted, our first book, The Good, The Bad & The Rugby – Unleashed, did not win a Pulitzer Prize. It did, however, scoop Sports Entertainment Book of the Year at the 2025 Charles Tyrwhitt Sports Book Awards (and sold quite a lot of copies), so here we are again, back for a sequel. What more have we to say? It’s a fair question. Hask can mine more new material from a trip to the supermarket than most people can from an entire lifetime – and you won’t be surprised to learn that he hasn’t just been hanging around Asda since our last book came out. He recently turned 40, he’s been through much personal turmoil, he’s done an awful lot of DJing – and he’s had a lot of arguments. Expect much of that, and even some thoughts on rugby, in the following pages. As for Tins, you’ll find out about his early days in rugby, how he had to fight to make it, what he thinks of the state of the game, and his plans to get it back on track. Meanwhile, Alex will tell you all about his career in broadcasting, from making (‘disgusting’) tea and coffee, and presenting some of the greatest rugby matches in history, to getting binned by Sky. We should end by begging you to pardon our previous flippancy. It was, of course, lovely to win that award, as well as very surprising. In fact, The Good, The Bad & The Rugby will never stop surprising us, and its continuing success is largely down to you – our wonderful listeners, viewers and now readers. We do hope you enjoy what follows and that you keep coming back for more. Winners of the Charles Tyrwhitt Sports Book Awards 2025 Sports Entertainment Book of the Year, for their previous book The Good, The Bad and The Rugby – Unleashed.

Big Mouth
'Like hanging with your funniest, sunniest, most sound, wise friend.' Marian Keyes Everything good, bad and downright mad that has shaped Vogue’s life and career is laid bare in Big Mouth. So get ready for sharply observed, hilarious and very personal insights into divorce, anxiety, family life, and showbiz, alongside important life lessons, such as how to sellotape a bottle of vodka to your inner thigh on a night out and why you should never be friends with a celebrity. Growing up in her beloved Howth, a seaside town in Co Dublin, Vogue’s life had its ups and downs. Her parents separated when she was five, a time in Ireland when priests were still ranting against broken marriages from the pulpit. Bouncing between the routine of her mum Sandra’s house and the pub for a few years (her dad, Freddie, was ‘fond of the drink’), everything changed overnight when Sandra (a complete ride) met Scottish businessman Neil and they moved to the big house on the cliff. In the school halls of Santa Sabina, Vogue made friends for life and spent her teenage years hanging out around off-licences, playing Beat the Slapper and getting kicked out of home. After school, she was packed off to Aberdeen by Neil to begin her short career as a builder but soon jacked it in when she was cast in reality TV show Fade Street. What follows is a behind-the-scenes peek at a rollercoaster life full of highs, lows, marriages, mistakes, misdemeanors and triumphs. Loudly, Vogue tells her whole story, moles and all, for the first time in this candid and funny dive into her hyperactive life.
