Depeche Mode je hudobná skupina, ktorá bola v roku 1980 založená v Basildone v Anglicku. Skupinu dnes tvorí: Dave Gahan (spev a spolautorstvo skladieb)a Martin Gore (klávesy, gitara, spev a hlavný autor skladieb). Legenda americké hudební scény Bob Dylan vydává ve svých 73 letech nové studiové album, v pořadí už 36. Noviny ve Spojených státech o něm píší jako o mimořádném počinu. Bob Dylan většinou bývá tím, jehož písně si půjčují další umělci. Třeba hit Knockin on Heaven´s door má desítky verzí. Právě proto bylo překvapením, když Dylan oznámil, že na jeho 36. albu budou pouze písně Franka Sinatry. Dylan tvrdí, že v Sinatrově hlase slyší vše - smrt, Boha i vesmír. Desku s jeho hity prý chtěl udělat už dávno, ale neměl na to dost odvahy. Obával se toho, jak nejlépe písně napsané pro třicetičlenný soubor předělat tak, aby je zahrála pouze pětičlenná kapela.
