V marci 2020 bola skupina Hooverphonic pripravená vystúpiť na pódium ESC v Rotterdame s piesňou „Release Me“. Alexovi Callierovi sa podarilo nahrať a zmixovať úplne nový album „A Simple Glitch Of The Heart“. Náhle však svet stíchol, žiadna Eurovízia, žiadny album. O rok neskôr vydáva Hooverphonic album „Hidden Stories“. Nielen, že Alex Callier napísal novú pieseň pre súťaž Eurovision Song Contest, z jeho pera a štúdia tiež vyletelo ďalších 9 piesní, ktoré vytvorili základ tohto nového majstrovského diela. Skladba „The Wrong Place“ sa ukázala ako najlepšia pieseň pre festival: netypická, ale zvukovo veľmi Hooverfonická, temná a humorná, tak ako by mala byť!
