Modrý album - nejprodávanější album Mekyho Žbirky od začátku milénia - vzniklo v roce 2001. Dvacet let poté, 1. října 2021, Universal vydává jeho reedici na dvou CD s výpravným bookletem a 2LP vinyl s novým zvukem. První CD obsahuje původní tracklist alba s remasterovaným zvukem z Abbey Road studia v Londýně. Na druhém bonusovém CD najdete živé verze a mixy vybraných písní, jako například Milionkrát, Len zatvor oči (v live i US verzi), Mám rád, Sněhulák a další. Vznik multiplatinové desky Modrý album zmapoval režisér Šimon Šafránek v dokumentárním filmu Modrý album - The Making Of. Skupina Mig 21, která sama sebe nazývá jako „chlapecká, taneční, pěvecká a striptérská skupina z Prahy 5-Smíchova”, chystá po sedmi letech nové studiové album „Džus noci”. V pořadí již pátá řadová deska, z nichž všechny dosud dosáhly minimálně platinového ocenění, obsahuje 12 skladeb. Objeví se zde nové skladby i singly, které vznikaly v průběhu posledních let a kapela je již hraje na svých koncertech, a tak písně jako „Svoboda není levná věc”, „Hurá”, „Hyjé!”, „Hej kámo” nebo „Těsně vedle sebe” už fanoušci znají v klipové či streamingové podobě. Albovou novinku Džus noci uvádí na trh singlovka „Hádej, co žena žádá”, ke které vzniká animované lyric video pod taktovkou předního stage/graphic/video designera Matyáše Vordy, kterého budou hudební fanoušci znát především z kapely Mandrage. ,,Čtyři písně jsme měli hotové už před tím pandemickým časem, ale těch zbylých osm věcí vznikalo v atmosféře, kdy nešlo koncertovat, kdy jsme si nemohli být jisti, jestli se nám ten team kolem kapely nerozutíká někam za jistějším výdělkem, kdy se člověk probudil a věděl, že jediné, co ho drží nad vodou je, že má rozdělanou písničku a kdyby neměl, tak by se nejspíš uchlastal k smrti,„ popisuje vznik desky Jiří Macháček. To, že Džus noci je pestrobarevné album, potvrzuje i řada hostů, které zde můžete slyšet, v čele s Erikou Stárkovou, Marthou Issovou, Matějem Ruppertem a Radkem Škarohlídem, ale zároveň se nahrávek chopila i řada různých hudebních producentů jako jsou Tomáš Konůpka, Lukáš Chromek či Roman Holý.
