The Planetary Dialogues
Welcome to The Planetary Dialogues, where polaritybecomes poetry. In this lyrical work, born out of a deep and difficult lovebetween its two authors, astrology expresses itself as theatre, as a livingdialogue between cosmic agencies, imagination, and the human soul. In 2014, Andreea and John found themselves on a healingjourney, where astrology, poetry, and dramatic enactment alchemised theirtensions into a creative work. As planetary actors engage in rhymed dialogue, their exchangesreveal the intelligence within polarity, where difference sharpens awarenessand conflict unveils hidden kinship. Twelve years in the making, drawing inspiration from mythand ancient wisdom, this work invites readers into a celestial drama. Archetypal voices mirror the human experience and Gaia, our ancient Mother, emerges as the mediating force who gathers all oppositions into wholeness. Enter a world where the planets speak in rhyme and theheavens become a stage.

When the cometPanstarrs (C/2011 L4) appeared in the sky back in 2013, Rod Chang wasapproached by a reporter asking what astrological influence it would have. Now, aftercollecting more data and learning how to generate a comet ephemeris, the authorhas a clearer picture of their astrological meaning which he demonstrates inthe form of many fascinating case studies. From a harmonious universe perspective, comets are seen as disruptors, irregular objects in the solar system, so thisbook is offered in the hope that it will encourage the reader to take more ofan interest in the extraordinary celestial objects that have perplexed, fascinated and even frightened stargazers since time immemorial.

By Jove!
Jupiter has been perceived for centuries as the 'GreaterBenefic', and many astrologers assume that this planet will always herald goodfortune, opportunities for betterment, and material and emotional rewards. Sometimes this interpretation is entirely valid. At other times it isn't. Jupiter's expression, in an individual life and on a collective level, israrely simple and sometimes anything but benefic, and Jupiter transits can reveal a contradictorypicture. Sometimes great opportunities arise and life is enhanced. Sometimesthe transit coincides with the collapse of relationships, financial hardship, the onset of serious illness, and even death. Sometimes both expressions occurat once. And in natal charts, Jupiter aspects are not always benign in theaccepted sense of the word. In astrology, several planets are associated withcomplexity and mystery, especially Neptune and Pluto. But Jupiter is in someways the most enigmatic of all the heavenly bodies in our solar system. Whatdoes Jupiter really symbolise? These three seminars given by Liz Greene for CPAand MISPA students in 2021 explore the enigmatic, paradoxical, andunpredictable Jupiter to find a clearer understanding of this tricky andmagical planet.
In the Name of Love: The Asteroid Psyche
The story of Psyche, immortalized by Apuleius over two thousandyears ago, is a magnificent myth about a love thwarted by the goddess of loveherself, Venus - the love between a mortal princess, Psyche, and Venus's ownson, Cupid. Condemned to perform four impossible labours to appease thegoddess's wrath, Psyche, aided by unexpected helpers, ultimately ascends toMount Olympus to be reunited with Cupid and to attain immortality. Yet toaccomplish this, and to win the favour of Venus, she must first embody fouressential qualities - the celebrated cardinal virtues of the Platonists. In astrology, the planet Venus symbolizes not only what we value, but also our sense of self-worth. This is why she plays such a vital role inlove and relationship: we cannot truly unite with another unless we choose themin accordance with our values - and unless we can first recognise our ownworth. When we are faced with the asteroid Psyche, we must, like the princessin the myth, carry out our own inner work in order to develop certain qualitieswithin ourselves that will content Venus - that is, the qualities that allow usto build a relationship through which she may truly bring forth the joy andhappiness she promises. Thus, this asteroid holds the key to building healthy, joyful, andfulfilling relationships - relationships in which the Self may unfold and thesolar identity, our symbolic immortality, find its full expression.
