She began writing as a teenager, drawn to the quiet intensities of rural life and the emotional undercurrents that shape it. Her work has since appeared in several collections and has been recognised by awards including the shortlisting of Redemption Song for the Alpine Fellowship Writing Prize, her winning entry War Child for the Remarque Prize, and her short fiction Reminder for the Jane Austen House Museum programme. Vorest is her debut collection.
