Čarodejník z krajiny Oz
Rozprávkový príbeh amerického spisovateľa Lymana Franka Bauma, ktorý patrí medzi modernú klasiku detskej literatúry, vyšiel prvý raz v roku 1900. Malá Dorotka žije u svojho strýka Henryho a tety Emy v Kansase. Počas veľkej búrky ju tornádo prenesie do ďalekej krajiny. Dorotka sa chce vrátiť domov, no jediný, kto jej môže pomôcť, je veľký čarodejník Oz zo Smaragdového mesta. A tak sa Dorotka vyberie po ceste vydláždenej žltými tehlami za čarodejníkom. Cestou stretne strašiaka Strachopuda, ktorý túži získať rozum, plechového drevorubača, ktorý by chcel mať srdce, a leva Bojka, ktorý túži po odvahe.
Dorotka s priateľmi zistia, že Oz je v skutočnosti obyčajný človek bez čarodejných schopností. Napriek tomu dá strašiakovi rozum, drevorubačovi srdce a levovi odvahu, pretože ich už vlastne dávno majú. Knihu ilustrovala Kamila Štanclová.
