Blackmore's Night

Blackmore's Night je britsko-americká neo-stredoveká folkrocková skupina založená v roku 1997, ktorú tvoria najmä Ritchie Blackmore (akustická gitara, hurdy gurdy, mandola, mandolína, nyckelharpa a elektrická gitara) a Candice Night (spev, textár a dychové nástroje). Ich zostava zaznamenala v priebehu rokov mnoho zmien; Blackmore a Night boli jediní dvaja stáli členovia. Vydali jedenásť štúdiových albumov. Ich skoré vydania boli väčšinou akustické a napodobňovali starú hudbu, ale nakoniec Blackmore's Night začali používať viac elektrických gitár a iných moderných nástrojov, ako aj predvádzať folkovo prearanžované cover verzie popových a rockových piesní. "Fires at Midnight" je tretí štúdiový album, vydaný 10. júla 2001 prostredníctvom SPV/Steamhammer Records. V porovnaní s predchádzajúcimi dvoma vydaniami je na tomto albume viac častí elektrickej gitary, pričom si zachováva folkrockový smer. Album bol v Nemecku nahrávkou v prvej desiatke.
