And he learns many valuable lessons like the importance of sympathy and kindness, and the danger of showing off all the time.

Something strange is going on. The waters of the Smiling Pool and the Laughing Brook have been mysteriously reduced to tiny streams and the creatures of the Green Forest are in a panic! Until they discover the reason: Paddy the Beaver has arrived to make a new home for himself and therefore stopped the flow of the waters.
