For the young Patrizia, home was where the hurt lay, so she immersed herself in dance, a refuge through which she found both expression and self-discovery. As a rebel artist experimenting with various styles in contemporary dance under the tutelage of renowned masters, like Jean Cebron and Merce Cunningham, she found a distinctive voice and style as a dancer and choreographer for which she has been much feted globally. Dance Naked Like Truth captures the zeitgeist of 1970s Europe, especially Italy, along with her collaborations with some of the greatest artists of our times such as Charles Mingus, Zakir Hussain, Giacinto Scelsi, Mario Schifano, Michelangelo Antonioni and Fabio Mauri.
