Kniha je směsicí Lynchových vzpomínek na zásadní okamžiky jeho života, které vytahuje na povrch světa nahodile, podobně jako když rybář vytahuje z vody právě ulovené ryby. Cellophane Memories je tretí spoločný štúdiový album Chrystabell a Davida Lyncha. Album vydalo Sacred Bones Records 2. augusta 2024. Album obsahuje aj posmrtné titulky od skladateľa Angela Badalamentiho, ktorý prispel syntezátormi k skladbám „She Knew“ a „So Much Love.“ Pôvod albumu pochádza z vízie, ktorú mal David počas nočnej prechádzky v lese vysokých stromov, na ktorých vrcholkoch videl intenzívne svetlo. Ako sám spomína, svetlo sa stalo zvukom Chrystabellinho hlasu a odhalilo mu tajomstvo. Práve z týchto tajomných konvergencií svetla a zvuku, dňa a noci, hviezdnej oblohy a čierneho lesa, spolupráca medzi Chrystabell a Davidom naďalej prekvitá. Pre Celophane Memories títo dvaja cestovali cez rôzne portály. Mnohé z piesní sa vhodne odohrávajú v rozprávkových lesoch, na vrcholkoch hôr, v dierach na kúpanie, na diaľniciach za šera a v tmavých spálňach. Sú to domovy samoty a romantiky, tie druhy vznešenej krajiny, kde človek často cestuje sám a hľadá strateného milenca. Sú to však aj beztvaré atmosféry farieb, času a dychu: modrá a biela obloha, červené ruže, temné hromobitie, víriace vetry a letné vône, ktoré cestovateľa rýchlo ponoria do nadprirodzených vnemov iných svetov.
