Nestačí ti snad Angarakové? Nechtěj se zmocnit Orbu, nebo se ti pomstí." Toraka zasáhla Aldurova slova velmi nelibě. Pocítil takovou hanbu, že proti bratrovi pozdvihl ruku a vší silou ho udeřil. Poté vzal drahokam a utekl. Ostatní bohové nutili Toraka, aby Orb vrátil, ale ten je neposlechl. Tehdy proti Angarakům pozvedly ostatní národy zbraň a svedly s nimi válku. Válka bohů a lidí se rozhořela po celé zemi a trvala až do doby, kdy nedaleko výšin u Korimu pozdvihl Torak Orb do výše a přinutil ho, aby spojil svou vůli s jeho a rozdělil zemi na dvě půlky. Hory se začaly hroutit a moře vystoupilo z břehů. V tu chvíli spojili své vůle Belar a Aldur a stoupající moře zastavili. Ovšem jednotlivé lidské rasy již byly odděleny a totéž se stalo bohům.
