Zírala jsem na vysoké betonové zdi týčící se nad hlavami čtyř set shromážděných Francouzek a na kilometry a kilometry elektrického ostnatého drátu a svírala svůj batoh s oficiálním dopisem od Luftwaffe. Tu dívku vedle mě věznili devět měsíců a pořád byla naživu. Naše vojska už prakticky přešla Siegfriedovu linii.
