Florence and the Machine je anglická indie rocková skupina založená v Londýne v roku 2007 vedúcou speváčkou Florence Welch, klávesistkou Isabellou Summers, gitaristom Robom Ackroydom, bubeníkom Christopherom Lloydom Haydenom a harfistom Tomom Mongerom. Kapelu tvorí množstvo ďalších hudobníkov. Hudba skupiny získala uznanie naprieč médiami, najmä zo strany BBC, ktorá zohrala veľký podiel na ich vzostupe propagácie Florence and the Machine v rámci BBC Music Introducing. Na Brit Awards 2009 získali ocenenie Brit Awards „Critics' Choice“. Hudba skupiny obsahuje dramatickú, excentrickú produkciu a Welchove silné vokály.
