This collection of new drawings and paintings by Nigel Peake explore what makes a city. The work is drawn from visits to places, including Shanghai, New York, Philadelphia, Antwerp, London, Paris, Oslo, Dublin, Budapest, Istanbul, Split and Rome. And from the things that are seen, heard, experienced and remembered, including grids, surfaces, places, paths, construction, information, sounds, reflections, rooftops and districts. Like In the Wilds, all of the artwork included will be original work created for the book.
