"Wechselspiel junior' continues in the tradition of "Wechselspiel" and "Spielend Deutsch lernen", i.e. it offers fully photocopiable A/B activity sheets which practice and hone certain grammar or vocabulary functions. The teacher need only identify the activity appropriate for her lesson, photocopy, and distribute it. Suggestions for pre- and post-worksheet activities are included in the teacher's preface. The difference to Wechselspiel is: there are many more picture or illustration guided activities than in Wechselspiel. In addition, the topics are not quite as adult as in the parent book. They were chosen from the interest and experiential world of a child or adolescent: fairy tales, animals, games, etc. Anyone who's used either "Wechselspiel" or "Spielend Deutsch lernen" will certainly celebrate the arrival of this new member of the family.
