Status Quo je britská rocková skupina. Skupina vznikla v Londýne a založili ju v roku 1962 Francis Rossi a Alan Lancaster, keď boli ešte školáci. Po niekoľkých zmenách v názve a zostave, medzi ktoré patrili predstavenie Johna Coghlana v roku 1963 a Ricka Parfitta v roku 1967, sa kapela stala The Status Quo v roku 1967 a Status Quo v roku 1969. Od roku 2022 bola skupina aktívna už 60 po sebe idúcich rokov (napriek tomu, že v roku 1984 oznámili rozchod, nasledujúci rok hrali Live Aid a v roku 1986 obnovili normálnu činnosť). Status Quo je so svojimi rôznymi nahrávkami pre vydania singlov aj albumov jednou z najúspešnejších kapiel všetkých čias vo Veľkej Británii.
