Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Book
Mercedes-Benz is a German manufacturer of automobiles, buses, coaches, and trucks. This title traces its origins to Karl Benz's creation of the first petrol-powered car, the Benz Patent Motorwagen, patented in January 1886 and Gottlieb Daimler and engineer Wilhelm Maybach's conversion of a stagecoach by the addition of a petrol engine later that year. Mercedes-Benz is one of the most well-known and established automotive brands in the world, and is also the world's oldest automotive brand still in existence today.
Porsche 911 Book
The introduction of the Porsche 901 at 1963's IAA marked a milestone in automotive history. Although the name later had to be changed because Peugeot had patented having a 0 in the middle of car model numbers, the 911 didn't let anything stand in the way of its becoming an iconic sports car. This success story spans all the way from the 901 and the Carrera RS 2.7, which with its characteristic rear spoiler - the so-called ducktail - was the fastest production car of its time, right up to the current generation of the 991.
Classic Cars Book
New additions to the automotive market are judged primarily by efficiency or fuel consumption. Things are quite different for historical cars. Major car shows, from Pebble Beach to Villa d'Este, feature classic cars, which, although they may not achieve top marks in the wind tunnel, have a timeless elegance that makes the hearts of all afi cionados skip a beat. The photographer Ansel Adams, who was an honorary judge at Pebble Beach, once de - fined them as follows: "The type of vehicle I would like to be buried in." From the Jaguar XK 140 to the Porsche 550 Spyder, Rene Staud has shot automotive classics in set tings ranging from the subtle to the spectacular. As co-organiser and head of the Car Selection Com mittee for Schloss Bensberg Classics, Jurgen Lewandowski provides authoritative texts. The Classic Cars Book conveys a real passion for these spectacular vehicles, appealing to existing fans and those yet to fall under their spell.
Aston Martin Book
For the 50th anniversary of James Bond in 2012, two icons came together who jointly epitomize the very essence of British coolness. In Skyfall, Daniel Craig, as agent 007, powered across the screen in an Aston Martin DB5, the very same thrilling six-cylinder that Sean Connery drove in Goldfinger. Meanwhile, Aston Martin has celebrated a milestone birthday. In the century since it was founded by Robert Bamford and Lionel Martin on January 13, 1913, the house has created a portfolio that ranges from the Le Mans-winning DB2 to 2013's Vanquish. Rene Staud has now captured Aston Martin's elegant luxury cars in photographic form. As in his bestselling books on the Mercedes 300 SL and the Porsche 911, Staud transforms automobile photography into a sensual experience and The Aston Martin Book allows readers to absorb the aura of a true British classic.

Mercedes-Benz - The Grand Cabrios & Coupes
Nothing says summer like driving a convertible. The car without a roof has always been a symbol for luxury and laissez-faire. And it still holds true today: everybody who's anybody drives "topless." The larger four-seater convertibles in particular have always been highly sought after-but they are difficult to build and have usually been made as coupes for this reason. Mercedes-Benz has always been a pioneer in this area. Mercedes-Benz: The Grand Cabrios & Coupes gives us a peek at the long-standing partnership between Mercedes-Benz and Stuttgart-based photographer, Rene Staud. Carefully staged photos show graceful curves and precision down to the finest details that convey the company's dedication to a very special kind of driving pleasure. This volume presents the most important convertibles and related coupes from 100 years of Daimler automotive history. A special highlight is Daimler's new flagship, a convertible based on the new S-class that is being rolled out at the 2015 IAS. Even though summer eventually comes to an end, and sunny days can give way to showers, this book stands for everlasting convertible adventures.
