„John opět přišel s naprosto dechberoucím soundtrackem a vytvořil úchvatné, děsivé, záhadné i intimní melodie, a zároveň vytvořil i nové aranže svých dobře známých klasických melodií,” přibližuje režisér Star Wars J. J. Abrams. „George Lucas mi dal jedinečnou příležitost pracovat na jednom projektu nepřetržitě po čtyři dekády, a za to jsem mu nesmírně vděčný. Ke každému filmu jsem mohl vytvořit unikátní hudbu, která dohromady tvoří jeden kompaktní celek,” doplňuje Williams.

Chtěl bych, aby dostal šanci na pořádný život John Williams cítil, že je něco jinak, že nejsou jako jiná dvojice otec a syn. Jejich svět byl prostě jiný, a ani oni, ani jejich rodina nevěděli proč. Dlouhou dobu jim dokonce i lékaři tvrdili, že je všechno v pořádku, jenže se mýlili. U Johnova syna byl později diagnostikován autismus a spastická diplegie a teprve tehdy začaly přicházet odpovědi. Toto je příběh jednoho otce a jednoho syna, kteří se vzájemně učí žít své životy, příběh kde nechybí radost, láska a touha být součástí společnosti.
