John Williams cítil, že je něco jinak, že nejsou jako jiná dvojice otec a syn. Jejich svět byl prostě jiný, a ani oni, ani jejich rodina nevěděli proč. Dlouhou dobu jim dokonce i lékaři tvrdili, že je všechno v pořádku, jenže se mýlili. U Johnova syna byl později diagnostikován autismus a spastická diplegie a teprve tehdy začaly přicházet odpovědi. Toto je příběh jednoho otce a jednoho syna, kteří se vzájemně učí žít své životy, příběh kde nechybí radost, láska, legrace a touha být součástí společnosti.

„John opět přišel s naprosto dechberoucím soundtrackem a vytvořil úchvatné, děsivé, záhadné i intimní melodie, a zároveň vytvořil i nové aranže svých dobře známých klasických melodií,” přibližuje režisér Star Wars J. J. Abrams. „George Lucas mi dal jedinečnou příležitost pracovat na jednom projektu nepřetržitě po čtyři dekády, a za to jsem mu nesmírně vděčný. Ke každému filmu jsem mohl vytvořit unikátní hudbu, která dohromady tvoří jeden kompaktní celek,” doplňuje Williams.
