Ráadásul éppen a fohos, Hamlet alakja nyert olyan megformálást a muben,
amely egyszerre tekintheto példaszerunek, azonosulásra alkalmasnak és
emberi gyengeségekkel, ?ellenszenves? tulajdonságokkal felruházottnak.
Népszerusége legfobb okának napjainkban éppen azt tartják, hogy Hamlet ?egy igazi mai, huszadik századi? fiatal.

A túlnyomórészt prózai, itt-ott verses komédia ? inkább bohózat, mint vígjáték ? csupa jókedv, csupa móka, csupa bujkáló poézis.
